Why I built this
For years, ambition, discipline, and responsibility looked like strength. Underneath them was a fear of failure and the pressure to control outcomes. Meeting Jesus began to change the foundation.
He showed me that identity is received, not achieved. I am still ambitious and still building—but now I want what I build to come from surrender, obedience, and stewardship rather than fear.
Built on the Rock is the journey I wish someone had walked me through.

Reflections from men Steven has mentored, served, and built alongside.
The deepening and intimacy of my relationship with Jesus has been totally transformative—professionally, personally, and in how I approach difficult situations. Steven is a brother who holds me accountable in my walk with Him.
Steven has helped make my relationship with Christ more tangible by showing me what faith looks like when it is actually lived out, not just talked about.
Steven and I were involved in a difficult business deal. Instead of drifting apart or holding grudges, we used that experience to build a strong brotherhood and continue pursuing God together.
