Built on the Rock
Built on the Rock is an 8-week discipleship journey for men, with a Week 0 kickoff first (about 9 weeks start to finish), sold by Steven J. Pastrana / The Kingdom Investor. We want every man who joins to be glad he did. If it isn't the right fit, this policy explains how to get your money back.
1. 14-day satisfaction guarantee
You can request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your purchase date. After 14 days, all sales are final.
Fourteen days gives you time to work through Week 0 (Count the Cost) and Week 1 (Awaken to Sonship), since Week 1 unlocks on day 7.
2. Who is eligible
To qualify for a refund:
- Your request is sent within 14 calendar days of purchase.
- You have logged in and genuinely attempted at least Week 0, such as watching the teaching or starting the workbook. You do not need to finish it.
- You email your request with your name and order details.
- Your account has not been flagged for refund abuse.
You do not need to prove hardship or explain your decision in detail.
3. What is not refundable
- Requests made more than 14 calendar days after purchase.
- Purchases with no evidence that the course was accessed. If you bought it and never logged in, contact us and we'll talk it through.
- Purchases where a chargeback or payment dispute has already been filed.
- Accounts involved in refund abuse, such as repeated purchase-and-refund cycles.
The founding price ($47) for waitlist members is covered by this same 14-day guarantee.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@thekingdominvestor.org with the subject line “Refund Request — Built on the Rock” and include:
- Your full name
- The email address you used at checkout
- Your purchase date (or order number)
- Optional: what you tried and why it wasn't a fit. Your honest feedback helps us serve the next man better.
5. Processing time
- Acknowledgment: within 2 business days of your email.
- Approval and refund initiated: within 5 business days of acknowledgment.
- Funds returned: usually 5–10 business days after that, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Refunds are returned only to the original payment method. When a refund is issued, access to the course is removed.
6. 1-on-1 coaching
If you used your Built on the Rock purchase as a credit toward 1-on-1 coaching (Foundation or Builder), that credit is applied to your coaching package and is no longer refundable as a course purchase. Coaching packages are governed by the terms of your coaching agreement.
7. Not a substitute for professional care
Built on the Rock is a faith-based discipleship program. It is not counseling, therapy, medical, legal or financial advice. Refunds are not issued on the basis that the program did not replace professional services.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback or payment dispute. We will work with you directly. A chargeback filed while a refund request is pending, or after a refund is approved, may reverse the refund and may affect your ability to purchase future programs.
9. Exceptions
If something outside your control kept you from using the course within 14 days, email us. We review exceptional circumstances case by case. Approval is not guaranteed.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Purchases are governed by the version in effect on the date of purchase.
